Internships at GDS

GDS's High School internship program strives to connect students with internships and shadowing experiences at organizations based in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Through connections with teachers, parents, alumni, and alumni parents, the school has secured partnerships with host organizations working in social justice, education, technology, finance, public policy, medicine, and law.

Our internship program aims to develop future leaders by matching rising 12th graders with summer experiences that ignite their passions and further their intellectual growth. The program allows its participants a window into the professional world they will one day inhabit, and a taste of the real-world, day-to-day responsibilities within a variety of workplace settings.
