GDS is closed for spring break.

Georgetown Day School is closed from noon on Friday, March 22 through Tuesday, April 2. All school offices are closed, including Admissions and College Counseling. Any voice or email messages will be returned on April 3.

During spring break, March 25–29, the Lower/Middle School will host a break camp. To register, visit www.GDS.org/BreakCamp.
Georgetown Day School is delighted to announce the addition of three morning buses to the GDS Lower/Middle School for the 2018-19 school year.

In two short years, our two campuses will unite at Davenport Street in Tenleytown. As part of our LMS building development agreement with the Board of Zoning Adjustment, the ANC, and the Tenleytown neighborhood, GDS has committed to decreasing our overall car trips to campus. GDS has a robust plan for meeting those commitments, which includes: shuttle buses to campus, carpooling, incentivizing and encouraging walking and biking to campus, and public transportation.

These changes are good for the quality of life on the unified GDS campus, good for you (and your car)—and good for the planet, minimizing our carbon footprint.

How to Register
Go to gds360.campbrainregistration.com and login to your account on or after June 1. (If you don’t remember your account details, please click on “password reset.”) Select “2018-19 GDS 360 Extended Day and Transportation” and select your route options. We will determine if we have sufficient registration for each bus route by August 25. If we have insufficient registration, we will cancel the route and fully refund your registration. For your financial aid code, please email Vinita Ahuja or Jessica Hortman.

Drop-In Rides
The Hopper Express and Hop2It buses are full for the 2018-19 school year, so we are not able to allow drop-in ridership. We will be revisiting drop-in ridership for the other morning buses later in the year and will send an email out to all families if anything changes.
