Michael Sachse '95

Michael Sachse '95 joined the board in 2017. He serves on the External Affairs Committee, Governance Committee, and Finance Committee.

Michael is the CEO of Stardog, a data unification company. Prior to joining Stardog, Michael was an entrepreneur-in-residence at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and a member of the management team at Opower, which was acquired by Oracle. Before joining Opower, Michael ran communications for congressman Jim Himes (D-CT) in his 2008 campaign, and worked as a litigator at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler.

Michael is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Amherst College. He also serves on the board of the Rock Creek Conservancy. Michael is also a GDS alum (class of 1995), is married to Erin Segal, and is a parent of a third and sixth grader, both at GDS.
