Black Alumni Alliance

The Georgetown Day School Black Alumni Alliance seeks to empower, connect, and celebrate the Black community within the greater GDS Alumni Network. The group unites the presence of alumni and students of the GDS community through efforts with the school’s Alumni Engagement department, establishing relationships, connections, and opportunities to alumni of the African diaspora. Our goals include:

Providing opportunities for networking and professional development
Providing support to the community through volunteer opportunities
Connecting to current students, each other, and Georgetown Day School
Increasing the number of active Black alumni
Advocating on behalf of those who share this identity
Advancing the mission of Georgetown Day School
