Policy Analyst, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence
Lisa Geller has served as Policy Analyst at the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) since June 2019. She spent two years as CSGV’s External Affairs Associate, from June 2016 to June 2018, before leaving to obtain her Master’s in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
At Hopkins, Lisa’s research focused on health policy, specifically injury and violence prevention. During her MPH year, Lisa worked at Hopkins’ Center for Gun Policy and Research with the country’s leading gun policy researchers. Her main areas of interest within gun violence prevention are suicide prevention and the intersection between domestic violence and firearms.
Lisa graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science. She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in health policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Lisa, a DC native and GDS lifer, currently lives in Washington, DC.
