GDS strives to provide an optimal learning experience for each student while maintaining the academic standards of the school.Our learning specialists are focused on student success, and support students in a variety of ways.

How We Help

GDS Learning specialists support students by: 

• Making referrals to outside professionals or clinicians for psycho-educational, neuro-psychological, speech and language, and occupational therapy evaluations.
• Developing student learning profiles to document diagnosis, accommodations, and recommendations.
• Coordinating recommended support services and necessary accommodations.
•  Screening all students in earlier grades, to ensure timely intervention and support, if needed.
• Provide direct services to students in collaboration with their teachers.
