May Town Hall 2019
SUMMARY

The Town Hall meeting was held at Georgetown Day School High School. In attendance from Georgetown Day School was Jeffrey Houser and Lauren Dickert. In attendance from DAVIS Construction, our General Contractor, was Chad Oursler. From GreenBench Companies, Gary Kressler was also in attendance, as our project management team for the construction portion of the project. 
 
Major topics of conversation were related to 42nd Street NW public space changes being presented at the ANC meetings.
 
The attendees have positively confirmed that GDS’s continued commitment to open communication with the community via the monthly Town Hall meetings and routine updates posted on the School Unification section of the GDS website has been helpful to all. Being able to know ahead of time the construction activity milestones from the past month and a description of what is expected to occur in the coming month allows all community members to be tuned into the project timeline and progress.
 
The next and last scheduled Town Hall meeting for the 2018-2019 school year will be held on Wednesday, June 19th, at the Georgetown Day School High School.
