Vote For Ava

The ten finalists for the National Round of the ESU Shakespeare Recitation Competition have just been announced and ninth grader Ava Blum was just named a top ten finalist! She now has the chance to compete for the NATIONAL TITLE!

Ava submitted her final performance (by video recording) to the National Shakespeare Competition. After winning the regional competition, she earned a trip to the finals in New York, which soon shifted to a virtual competition. The competition YouTube channel is now live, and you are invited to view the performances of each of the Branch Winners from across the country.

She’s already won the “Hoppers’ Choice” award (😉💚), but with your help, Ava also has a shot at the National Shakespeare Competition’s “People’s Choice” award. Now that she's in the final round, it must be noted that first, second, and third place winners in the judged competition will not be eligible for the “People’s Choice” award.

You can vote only once per device. Voting closes at midnight (EST) on April 23. The winner of the “People’s Choice” award will be announced on April 27, 2020.
