Middle School Band Performances

Students in Middle School band worked diligently this semester in their virtual lessons and their in-person, small group rehearsals preparing the pieces shared below. To achieve these fulsome, virtual performances, teachers John Barnes, Regina La Valley, and Sasha Soper prepared students to record their parts individually using the Soundtrap platform. Later, John and Sasha edited and combined their parts to construct the final melodic pieces. The students also submitted a funny picture of themselves practicing their instruments to make the performances appealing not only acoustically but also visually. We look forward to being able to play again as a full ensemble in the new performance space next year!

• Over the Rainbow 2021 — performed by the 6th-8th Grade Instrumentalists with Special Friends
