7th–8th Grade Art Enrichment with John Headley

In 7th and 8th grade enrichment art, students explored race, racism, and stereotypes through visual media. By watching snippets of documentaries, discussions in class, and examining various artists’ work, students were asked to reflect on these concepts. They were then tasked with creating a two-dimensional piece that addressed these topics, either celebrating racial differences or critiquing racism and stereotypes.
