GDS Summer Reading

Preparing summer reading lists is one of the fun parts of our job. We've included new titles, classics and a little bit of everything. We hope you'll use these lists as a "starting point," rather than any sort of requirement. Many authors have written other titles, and even series. Children's librarians and booksellers will have lots of good advice and suggestions. The websites www.politics-prose.com and www.capitolchoices.org are rich sources too.

May each of you have a readingful summer. We look forward to September and hearing about what you've read!

HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING A BOOK?

Many books may only be in a library. The summer is a good time to check out your nearest library whether you are at home or on vacation. Have an enjoyable summer with a book in hand.
