* In addition to tuition, students new to GDS pay $500, which is applied to the School’s plant replacement reserve, in each of their first three years. This fee is due with the July 1 payment.
Payment Schedule and Other Fees
|The first semester payment, 60% of tuition, is due no later than July 1. The second semester payment, 40% of tuition, is due no later than January 1. Through TADS, Georgetown Day School offers a variety of tuition payment options. Parents may wish to take advantage of the direct debit from checking and savings accounts or credit card payment options. A $1,000 Enrollment Deposit for students is due upon admission and is held on account until graduation. The enrollment deposit for financial aid recipients is $250. The enrollment deposit is not applied to tuition and is forfeited unless written notification of the intent to withdraw is received by the Head of School on or before February 11.
In addition to tuition, a Replacement Reserve Fee of $500 is assessed per student in each of their first three years at GDS. This fee, which is designated for the improvement of the physical plant, is due with the July 1 payment. A Graduation Fee of $225 is included in the twelfth-grade tuition.
Children will not be admitted to school until fees have been fully paid by the appropriate due dates, with the exception of parents participating in an alternative payment plan. The School will neither grant diplomas nor transfer academic credit if accounts are not paid in full. No refunds will be made for absence or withdrawal before the end of the school year.
