8 AM - 1 PM @ Lower/ Middle School
The Lower and Middle School students and faculty of Georgetown Day School cordially invite grandparents and special friends to this event in their honor. Chairing this year's Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day is Joan Ress Reeves, grandmother of William ‘19, Ellie ‘17, and Talia ‘15 Goldberg.
Lower/Middle School guests are welcome between 8 AM and 1 PM.
Valet parking will be available.
The day will include:
8:00-8:45 Welcome! Registration, coffee, and tea in lobby
9:00-10:00 Assembly in the gym with opening remarks by Head of School Peter Branch
10:00-11:30 Visit with children in their classrooms
11:45-12:45 Lunch in the gym (Grandparents and Special Friends only)
While GDS has the names and addresses of most current grandparents, we're not always sure the information is up-to-date. We are also aware that some grandparents may not be able to join us. It would be great if every child could have a guest on May 9, so we'd appreciate your letting us know if there is a "special friend" whom we can invite. Any relatives (preferably other than parents), neighbors, family friends and caregivers are welcome.

Your prompt response will help us make Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day 2008 at the Lower/Middle School a special event for your child. Please register by May 2.
Invitations have been mailed but you are welcome to register online at any time.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Ashley Hair at 202-295-1070 or e-mail her at ahair@gds.org.
