Beginning a new career can be a daunting prospect, especially in today's difficult market. What a difference a helpful suggestion or some timely advice can make to someone looking for a first job or contemplating a career change. A mentor can listen to career goals, suggest companies to investigate, guide through possible avenues of preparation, review application materials, or possibly even offer an internship.
