Thank You for Island Hopping!
More than 400 members of the GDS community came out on May 10 to raise money for Financial Aid. Party-goers donned their "island chic" attire, sipped Mojitos, enjoyed delicious Caribbean fare, admired the Caribbean dancers and drummers, and raised their bid paddles in support of our students. GDS wishes to thank Island Hoppers Auction Chair Rita Castillo and her hard-working team of volunteers for making Island Hoppers such a successful-- and fun-- evening. While numbers are still coming in, indications are that we had a very strong year-- the preliminary gross is $315,000. Thank you to everyone who supported the Auction.
