The movie tells the story of three children from the Patongo displacement camp in northern Ugandan, who are all members of the first school music group from the northern Uganda war zone to make it to the final round of Uganda's national music competition. Read more in Variety magazine! » Caleb Kramer '87 Donates $100,000 to GDS "Giving to GDS provides not only financial aid and support for students who otherwise would not be able to afford the tuition, but it also creates a richer overall community through diversity of socio-economic backgrounds," Caleb writes about his very generous support. "The exposure to a diverse range of people and alternative schools of thought and approaches is one of the most valued parts of my education and should remain an essential part of the GDS experience." Caleb's gift will support the GDS Annual Fund, which provides financial assistance to students. Alumni Board Is Seeking Internships for Students The GDS Alumni Board is interested in hearing from alumni who can provide leads to upcoming internships that current GDS students may qualify for.
