Join us for a day of dialogue, information, and reflection. Open to high school students, pre-school to 12th-grade teachers, and parents of all racial backgrounds.
Conference themes:
- How is white privilege manifested in our schools (affirmative action, college acceptances, financial aid)?
- Where is white privilege evident in the current and political climate?
- What is the cost of racism to white people?
- How can white people become allies in the fight against racism? What is our action plan?

- Panel: Voices from Inside Our Schools
- Video/Media Selections Addressing Racial Identity, Privilege, and Racism

All high school students must be accompanied by an adult chaperone, and all adults should register as well.
Please note that there is no conference fee, but we do ask that if your school has a budget for student events, please contribute $10 per participant to help cover costs. Checks should be made payable to GDS and are due on or before April 18. Thank you for your cooperation.
