Lower school:  On Monday and Tuesday, March 5 & 6, your Lower School child will have a chance to come to the book fair to make a wish list.  No books will be sold on Monday and Tuesday so that the full selection of titles will be available for browsing. Please join your child in making a wish list or watch for the wish list in your child's back pack, review the list, and send in a check payable to GDS to cover the cost of any books you wish to purchase. Beginning on Wednesday, Lower School classes will return to the fair to purchase books.

Middle school:  Middle School students will visit the book fair with their English classes on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.  Please send cash or a check made out to GDS with your child! (Middle School students also are welcome to come browse the selection during recess on Monday and Tuesday.)

This is a fundraiser!  Child's Play owners and GDS parents Simmie Kerman and Steven Aarons have generously agreed to give the school 20% of the list price of each book.  Each year the book fair raises about $5,000 for school programs.

Want to do something special for your child's teacher? Purchase a book from his or her classroom wish list. Your child can fill out a special bookplate with his or her name. The library also will have a wish list available to expand its ever-popular audio collection.
