About ASP
The After-School Program (ASP) for the Lower School offers students a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in an exciting and caring atmosphere. For students PK–5th grade, ASP provides a sense of community and helps foster friendships in a fun and relaxed yet structured program. Through a variety of enrichment programs including study hall for grades 3–5, ASP complements the GDS learning experience by offering children physical and creative outlets for self-discovery and lifelong learning.

In addition to these activities, we also offer study hall in a quiet and supervised classroom for those students with homework. All students in grades 3–5 who are enrolled in the ASP program attend one hour of Study Hall (half an hour for 3rd graders). After receiving a nutritious snack, students go to the study hall room from 3:30–4:30 PM (2:30–3:30 PM on Wednesdays) where they are supervised by Lower School teachers. When Study Hall ends, students may participate in other ASP activities.
