Strategic Plan

Link  Strategic Plan 2007 (11/14/2007)

On Monday night, November 12, the Board of Trustees discussed and adopted GDS's strategic plan for the next five years. The plan reflects the work of dozens of volunteers--parents, staff, faculty, and alumni-- and addresses the priorities and concerns expressed by the community through surveys, focus groups, committee work, and community forums. The plan affirms core principles and sets ambitious goals for our community, School programs and the School's financial foundation.

In the next five years, the Board of Trustees commits to carrying out the action steps outlined in this new plan. Some of the goals and action steps are readily measurable, while others will be less measurable because they address intangible qualities in the life of the School. The Board will monitor the actions taken and the results observed, will report annually to the school community on implementation, and will seek continuing discussion of progress.
